Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, and welcome to "A Rare Breed" - Tales From the Cryptid. On this blog, Bobby Nelson and myself, Jason Korbus, will be sharing our stories and opinions on all things cryptozoological. Hosting our own internet radio show, Strange Frequencies, we are blessed to be able to interview some of the biggest names in the field.

To kick off the new year and the first post of this blog, I'd like to introduce to you, if you are not already aware, to the work of Jonathan Downes and the Center for Fortean Zoology (CFZ). Not only are they among the most active research and investigation groups in the world, but Mr. Downes also produces a monthly webshow to keep viewers informed of the latest news and expeditions the CFZ is involved in. In this episode, Mr. Downes covers the legendary Owlman, as well as features the work of a young up-and-coming Crytpo researcher named Jordan Warner. At apparently only 15 years of age, young Mr. Warner is already funding research expeditions and filming a docu-show on Youtube. Check it out!
